The IEEE Signal Processing Society has been announced as an Industry Knowledge Partner for the inaugural Indo-Pacific Robotics, Autonomy, AI and Cyber Conference (IPRAAC 2025), to be held from 7–9 October 2025 at the Pan Pacific Perth.
The partnership with the IEEE Signal Processing Society brings world-class expertise in the science and application of signal processing to the conference. As the world’s premier society in its field, IEEE Signal Processing Society supports research, development, and professional exchange through its journals, conferences, and global membership network. Its involvement with IPRAAC will strengthen the technical depth of the program and create new opportunities for knowledge exchange at the intersection of signal processing, robotics, AI, and cyber.
“We are delighted to partner with IPRAAC 2025 as an Industry Knowledge Partner,” said Dr Muhammad Bilal Shaikh, Chair for IEEE Signal Processing Society Western Australia Section. “This collaboration aligns with our mission to advance signal processing and connect professionals across disciplines. By engaging with robotics, AI, and cyber experts at IPRAAC, our members will be able to share their expertise while learning from adjacent industries that are shaping the future.”
David Matrai, Conference Chair of IPRAAC 2025, welcomed the partnership, noting: “The addition of the IEEE Signal Processing Society brings an unparalleled level of technical leadership to our conference. Their expertise will enhance the program and provide attendees with access to global best practices in signal processing. This partnership reflects our goal of creating a truly interdisciplinary forum for the Indo-Pacific and beyond.”
Organised by Space and Earth – Partners and Advisory, IPRAAC 2025 will bring together global leaders in robotics, artificial intelligence, cyber, and autonomous systems. With more than 90 confirmed speakers representing over 20 countries, the event is set to be a landmark gathering for policymakers, researchers, industry innovators, and investors. The program will feature keynote addresses, deep-dive workshops, technical tours, and exhibition showcases, all designed to accelerate collaboration and technological adoption across critical industries including space, defence, mining, agriculture, and energy.
IPRAAC 2025 will run from 7–8 October at the Pan Pacific Perth, followed by technical tours on 9 October. For more information and to register for IPRAAC 2025, visit www.indopacificroboticsconference.com.
About IEEE Signal Processing Society
Founded as IEEE’s first society in 1948, the Signal Processing Society is the world’s premier association for signal processing engineers and industry professionals. Engineers around the world look to the Society for information on the latest developments in the signal processing field. Its deeply rooted history spans 75 years, featuring a membership base of more than 20,000 deeply interested and involved signal processing engineers, academics, industry professionals and students who are all part of a dynamic global community – spanning 120 countries worldwide.
The Society organizes numerous conferences around the world every year, focusing on the innovations shaping the future of signal processing and the future of our world.
Members have opportunities to be involved in boards and committees, and at the local level members are actively immersed in regional chapters, working on issues and projects that shape what’s next in signal processing. The Society also oversees publication of numerous periodicals, including the IEEE Signal Processing Magazine and the Inside Signal Processing eNewsletter.
