CyberWest Hub Announced as Community Partner for IPRAAC 2025

The Indo-Pacific Robotics, Autonomy, AI and Cyber Conference (IPRAAC) 2025 proudly announces CyberWest Hub as a Community Partner, reinforcing the growing importance of cyber security as a cornerstone of innovation, resilience, and digital transformation across the region.

CyberWest Hub, Western Australia’s dedicated cyber security innovation hub, plays a pivotal role in advancing the state’s cyber capability, connecting industry, government, education, and community. Co-funded by the WA Government’s New Industries Fund, Edith Cowan University, and the City of Joondalup, CyberWest Hub is committed to building a future-ready cyber workforce and strengthening the resilience of local organisations through knowledge-sharing, capacity-building, and community-led initiatives.

As part of its core mission, CyberWest Hub provides accessible directories that link individuals and businesses to trusted cyber training programs and service providers. With a focus on empowering students, SMEs, and professionals alike, the Hub actively promotes cyber awareness and literacy across all sectors of the economy.

Director, Emma O’Neil, says, “Our mission is to equip Western Australians with the talent, tools and connections needed to navigate a rapidly evolving digital landscape. Partnering with IPRAAC 2025 allows us to extend that mission and collaborating with key stakeholders from across the Indo-Pacific who are shaping a future that relies on a secure and resilient digital foundation.”

CyberWest Hub also drives thought leadership through events such as CyberConnect and the annual CyberWest Summit, providing platforms for meaningful dialogue on emerging threats and innovation opportunities. From intellectual property protection to sector-specific cyber challenges, its initiatives support the broader ecosystem in addressing the critical intersection of technology, security, and economic growth.

David Matrai, Committee Chair for IPRAAC added, “Cyber security underpins every aspect of robotics and autonomous systems. CyberWest Hub brings deep capability, real-world insight, and an outstanding track record in workforce development and sector collaboration. We are proud to partner with them and highlight the essential role cyber resilience plays in unlocking the full potential of emerging technologies.”

IPRAAC 2025 will take place from 7-8 October 2025 in Perth, Western Australia. Become a speaker, sponsor or exhibitor today: https://indopacificroboticsconference.com/
