Bindi has 25 years’ experience in agricultural research, development & extension specialising in soil management, controlled traffic farming and precision agriculture in broadacre farming systems. Bindi’s skills include data management, precision agriculture applications such as yield mapping and variable rate applications, trial planning, data analysis, report writing and training facilitator.
Bindi is currently the Vice Chair of the Australian Controlled Traffic Farming Association. She is working on four GRDC funded Grain Automate projects including a project led by Verge Technologies Australia Pty Ltd in collaboration with ACTFA titled “On-farm operations optimisation”. Using the Verge online platform (www.vergeag.com) the project is developing a new generation of farm operation optimisation tools for machinery path and route planning, operational logistics and machinery investment planning to assist farmers implement autonomous systems.
Bindi loves the challenge working with growers to apply PA technologies using a plethora of machinery brands and soil landscape systems. Not one farming system is the same!
