He sits on the boards of multiple space tech firms and academic institutions and is a direct investor in early-stage ventures across the sector.  He is currently spearheading multiple initiatives across four strategic pillars that are reshaping the global space economy:

• Capital Deployment: Raj is actively developing syndicate-based investment models, working with family offices, sovereign funds, and VC platforms to mobilize capital into high-potential space ventures. His upcoming initiative includes launching a dedicated platform focused on space analytics and early-stage investments, targeting dual-use technologies with downstream applicability.
• Policy & Research: Leading analytical and strategic research that informs national space policy development, including the use of satellite data for public infrastructure and security applications. His work supports governments and intergovernmental bodies in designing resilient and future-ready space ecosystems.
• Advisory & Capacity Building: Serving as a strategic advisor and board member to early-stage and growth-phase space technology companies, Raj provides hands-on support in commercialization, capital strategy, and global expansion. He plays a key role in aligning technical innovation with market demand across MENA, APAC, and Europe.
• Education & Curriculum Design: As a visiting and adjunct professor at top global business schools, including ESCP Business School, Emeritus, Raj is a leading voice in space economy education. Most recently, he was appointed Guest Faculty at the International Space University (ISU), where he leads advanced modules on venture funding for space startups.
